The Person Behind The Camera
I’m Sam, a wedding filmmaker based in Devon, capturing weddings across the UK and beyond. I’ve always had an interest in cameras and videography, but it wasn’t until lockdown that I really immersed myself in it. After buying my first drone, I spent countless hours exploring the beaches, coastline and moors of Devon from above. Before long, I picked up my first handheld camera and haven’t really put it down since. What started as a hobby quickly became an obsession, eventually leading me to wedding filmmaking.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me planning my next trip, watching football, enjoying live music festivals, or making the most of a sunny day with a cold beer.

For me, weddings are the perfect combination of storytelling and real emotion. I love
capturing the moments couples don’t even realise are happening and turning them into films that feel timeless and nostalgic. My goal is to create something that lets you relive your wedding day for years to come, becoming even more meaningful as time goes on.
A Mix Of Old And New
I use a combination of professional Sony cameras, multi camera setups and drones to capture your wedding from every angle, while also bringing in a few more unusual cameras when the moment calls for it.
I have a 20 year old Handycam that adds a nostalgic, home video feel to certain parts of the day. For something even more unique, I also offer optional Super 8mm footage, shot on a camera that’s around 50 years old.
From cinematic aerial shots to the smallest moments happening around you, having a range of cameras means I can capture your day in different ways and create a film that feels layered, personal and completely yours.
